2017 Program Schedule

  • April 22- Nancy McCurdy N.E.M.A (Never Ending Missing Ancestors)

  • May 20- Mary Sieminski & Jane Luther - Julia Collins, ​ Williamsport school teacher who was the first African-American woman to author a novel. Starting in January 1865, her novel, The Curse of Caste, or the Slave Bride[1] was serialized in the pages of the Christian Recorder.

  • August 26- Ted Bainbridge, Ph.D. Longmont, Colorado Ted has been a genealogical researcher, teacher, consultant, speaker, and writer. “Preserving Your Collections: General problems and solutions - Preserving photos, documents, computer data, and memorabilia, and detecting errors in your work.”
